Champagne Jeeper at The Tribeca Ball

Posted by Barterhouse on February 13, 2018

Continuing with our philanthropic initiatives, Barterhouse participated in the The Tribeca Ball, an annual fundraiser organized by the New York Academy of Art. Champagne Jeeper generously supplied all the bubbly for the event! Festivities kicked off with the cocktail hour where guests mingled along the many floors of the Academy admiring the artwork of the students.

There were sections dedicated to watching artist craft their work, an instillation of live birds of prey, as well as interactive exhibits where guests could paint for themselves. Afterward Daniel Boulud served an extravagant dinner for 300 guests. It was a star-studded evening where guests indulged in delicious Champagne Jeeper, including board members Naomi Watts and Brooke Sheilds as well as food celebrities like Martha Stewart and Daniel Boulud. There were live models displaying gorgeous Van Cleef and Arpels Jewelry, stilts walkers from the House of Yes.

A painting of the beautiful and unique Champagne Jeeper bottle, a piece that was commissioned painting commissioned by an Alumna of the Academy hung over the champagne bar. The evening was a record breaking success for the Academy with nearly 900 guests in attendance and over $860,000 raised for the Academy’s scholarships and programming. Vogue said it best…”the New York Academy of Art’s annual Tribeca Ball proved itself once again to be the city’s leading art event for serious collectors, in-the-know enthusiasts, and real-deal patrons…Tribeca Ball has become such an anchor of the art world’s social calendar that people plan their busy travel schedules around it.”
