Conte Ferdinando Guicciardini
Castello Di Poppiano Il Cortile Chianti Colli Fiorentini (2013)
The Chianti blend has evolved over time, adapting to shifts in consumer preference and advances in vineyard technology. This blend shows aromas of red fruits, violets, dried herbs and bitter cherries.
HARVEST NOTE
Castello di Poppiano is located in the area of “Chianti Colli Fiorentini” (“Chianti Hills of Florence”). While Chianti Colli Fiorentini “Il Cortile” and “Riserva” DOCG, together with Vinsanto, remain our most traditional wines, innovative works are ongoing and new IGT (Geographic Typical Indication) wines are being produced.
TASTING NOTE
Brilliant ruby with purple hues, incisive aromas which open with fruity flavors, great balance between alcoholic component and tannins. Elegant, deep, long finish.
