Massi di Mandorlaia
Massi di Mandoralia Carbonile (2014)
One of the region's lesser-known DOCG wines, it sits, somewhat underappreciated, in the shadow of its more famous counterparts from Chianti, Montalcino, and Montepulciano. Beautiful Tuscan wine with a lot of red fruit, well balanced and long finish
HARVEST NOTE
Castello di Poppiano is located in the area of “Chianti Colli Fiorentini” (“Chianti Hills of Florence”). While Chianti Colli Fiorentini “Il Cortile” and “Riserva” DOCG, together with Vinsanto, remain our most traditional wines, innovative works are ongoing and new IGT (Geographic Typical Indication) wines are being produced.
TASTING NOTE
This delightful wine opens with notes of blue flower and ripe red berries that carry over to the palate.
FOOD PAIRING
Hearty pasta
Tuscan soups
Pizza.
